busy bee...
...with little time for blogging presently. I am editing my first wedding and will blog again when that is behind me. Meanwhile, here are a few photos from our big wedding weekend that I plucked out of the bunch after editing. My sisters were, again, such a huge help and support to me through my first big event.

sarah goes to atlanta
In April, Sarah took her first trip to Atlanta. I had wanted to take her for a long time and the opportunity finally came: a girls trip with my mother-in-law and her mother-in-law to visit my aunt-in-law. Simple.
She did get to go to Anthropologie (our first time) and not only buy a tea cup but also watercolor with our cousin Whitney at the kids' table.
Such things make her very happy.
She did get to stuff herself with THE Italian food, authentic Mexican, Trader Joe's healthy stuff; she did get to go to a yarn show and meet the yarn moose; and as we all must do when we visit, walk the neighborhood and Pam's yard to survey all of her plants.
I only wish we had gotten a picture of our ride home when Sarah and I were stuffed in the back seat with a box of over-flowing fragile orchids, which as you must know are much more affordable in the Atlanta area.

ruth's 13th birthday
Already a year later, and Ruthie is 13. Slowly my parents house is being taken over by teenagers.
I am really enjoying sitting back and watching my baby sisters grow into beautiful young women. They are definitely a pride and joy to me.
I love you, Ruthie; you have many talents and will do grand things with them...just wait and see.

outdoors in early spring
For starters, here are a few pictures of early spring. A lot of them were taken for fun while riding around where I live, and while following on the heels of Neil and Opal.

| One of my newer hobbies: bringing the outside in by creating terrariums from little plantlings I find in the woods. |
